About our Church
Pastor James and his wife

Pastor James K.O. Amofa & his wife Diane Amofa

In the year 1996, Pastor James K.O. Amofa was sent by his former church, Christian Church Outreach Mission (CCOM) under leadership of Pastor Samuel Bonsu, to plant a church in Arnhem.

The church started it's full operation service on the 22nd of September in 1996, bearing the name CCOM. It wasn't till February 1999, that the name of the church was changed to Living Faith Church due to circumstances that took place in the mother church in the Hague.

Over the years we struggled hard through prayers and fasting to run the church with only nine members.

Despite of our few members we managed to be very active for the Lord, we held weekly activities such as bible studies, home cells and prayers meetings. we also held evangelism campaings and easter conventions, fasting retreats, praise evenings and hosted many guest speakers.

The Lord has been faitfull and good. If we look back 10 years from now we see the great things He has done. Not only we can see the numerically growth, but also and foremost spiritually. We've had marriages take place and baby dedications, children sunday school and youth group meetings. many have given their lives to Jesus and have been baptized, there are testimonies of healings and deliverances.

Right now we are trying to find our own church building. We know God will provide at His own time. Let us look forward to many good things the Lord will continue to do in our midst.

About our church

We are a non-denominational full gospel charistic faith congregration. it is a church withouth walls. The vision is to eradicate the walls that separate the spiritual and the secular, and to fully embrace the truth that ''man'' is a spiritual being. Therefore every area of his life is affected by his spiritual state.

Living Faith Church is outreach oriented under the leadership of Pastor James K.O. Amofa and other God gifted men to support the vision to affect the growing racial, social and economic problem around us today.

The congregation has intercultural background, two main languages - English and Dutch - and approximately 50 members.

Aspects of our vision

Living Faith Church adres
  1. The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and practise.

  2. There is one God, eternal and self-existing in three persons (FatherSon and Holy Spirit).

  3. God created the heaven and the earth and all that is in them including the first man Adam in literal six days and rested on the seventh day.

  4. All mankind participated in Adam's fall from his original sinless state and is this lost in sin and will face the judgement of God, and therefore need to come to salvation through Jesus Christ and His shed blood on the cross.

  5. Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took on Himself all our sins, died and rose again, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator and advocate.

  6. The souvereign God, for no other reason than His own unfathomable love and mercy, has chosen lost sinners from every nation to be redeemed though the atoning death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ and the quickening power of the Holy Spirit.

  7. Every sinner who believes Jesus Christ as savior who died on the cross and confesses with his/her mouth that He rose again from the dead is born again according to the Word of God and becomes a son of God.

  8. Justification is by faith and through it the undeserving sinner is clothed with the righteousness of Christ.

  9. After death comes judgement and the Christian's souls passes immediately into the presence of God in heaven while the unbeliever's soul is eternally separated from God unto condemnation in hell.

  10. Jesus Christ will return to earth, visibly and bodily, at a time when He is not expected. The Second coming of Jesus Christ includes the rapture of the saints and His reign on earth for one thousand years.

  11. Every born again believer is commissioned by Jesus Christ to preach the Gospel of God's salvation in Jesus Christ which must be published to the entire world as witness before He returns.

  12. The ordinance of baptism by immersion as a sign of God's covenant is commanded by the scriptures. Baptism is properly administered to adults thought total and complete immersion in water as a sign of faith in the death burial and ressurection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  13. All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  14. The Holy Spirit baptism of believers is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance.

  15. Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilige of all believers.
